The picture in the left corner was taken from the public landing of Mattawamkeag Lake. This is the home of the Island Falls Fish and Game Club and also the Island Falls Free-Wheelers A.T.V. Club.
The Island Falls Free-Wheelers A.T.V. Club is a non-profit recreational club that was started in July of 2004 and incorporated in August of 2004. Our membership continues to grow and anyone interested in joining please feel free to print out a membership form. Everyone is welcome.
Part of the trail to Shin Pond has been CLOSED.
We are currently working with the Landowner to
get the trail opened again. Please be patient and respect the Landowners decision. It will make it easier for us to work things out.
